Meet Our Advisors
ASPIRA Early College Academic Advisors are responsible for keeping students on-track to graduation. This involves meeting with students regularly to discuss their progress in each class. Academic Advisors are also responsible for recruiting students to the school and overseeing all afterschool programs including homework center, clubs and sports.

Bio: Ms. Maldonado has been an ASPIRA employee since August 2001 working with the Talent Search Trio Federal Program, the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Program and the Leadership Development Institute also known as the ASPIRA Clubs within the Chicago Public Schools. Ms. Maldonado has proudly provided services in the capacity of academic advising to the following schools: Roberto Clemente High School, Wells High School, Prosser High School, Sabin Elementary School and Jose de Diego Career Academy. Ms. Maldonado is certified in Crisis Intervention and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Ms. Maldonado is currently the Academic Advisor of ASPIRA Early College High School where she facilitates the Talent Search Program, Student Intervention Program, Sports Program, and the After-School Program. Ms. Maldonado holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Robert Morris College in downtown Chicago.
