Mrs. Brenda Stolle-Miramon

Mrs. Stolle-Miramon was born and raised in Chicago. She grew up in grew up in the Kelvyn Park neighborhood until she was 7 years old when her family relocated to Jefferson Park where she resides to this day. She completed her bachelor’s degree at UIC in Biological Science, her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in RIver Forest and most recently completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with her Principal Endorsement from Northeastern Illinois University.

Mrs. Stolle-Miramon spent the first 8 years of her teaching career in the suburbs. She realized that she needed to teach in the communities she grew up in. She started her journey with ASPIRA in 2011 as a biology teacher, 11th grade chair, science department chair and testing coordinator. It was through the many teacher leader opportunities provided to her by ASPIRA that she found her passion in leadership. In 2015 she was promoted to Assistant Principal and then Principal in 2016.

Mr. Mike Simball

Mr. Simball, son to immigrant parents, one a teacher and the other an accountant, from South America, was born on the south side of Chicago and raised in Logan Square. His family then moved to Belmont Heights in the ’90s where they still live today. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Justice Studies. He soon realized that his true calling was in education and was following in his mother’s footsteps. He returned to school an earn a Masters in Special Education, and is currently enrolled in a Doctoral program in Education Leadership at Depaul.

Mr. Simball’s began his career teaching high school equivalency classes to post-adjudicated youth at the Cook County Department of Corrections. From there he taught in Chicago Public Schools. He began his journey at Aspira early College in 2014 as a Special Education teacher and Case Manager. Through hard work and his ability to rise to leadership opportunities, he was then promoted to Dean of Students in 2016 at Aspira Business & Finance H.S. In 2018 he returned to Aspira Early College as Assistant Principal.
